"22nd Time", a quartet formed from members of The Seneca Junction Chorus, finished Top 10 at the latest Quartet Competition in Rochester, NY, September 2009. 22 total quartets from Seneca Land District were in attendance to vie for the 1st place trophy and being tagged as the Seneca Land District Champion Quartet for Fall 2009.
Friday nights Semi-Finals had 22nd Time singing a crowd favorite of "I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover" and a great ballad "Love Letters". Making it to Saturday nights Quartet Finals had 22nd Time singing a few oldies called "Back In The Good Old Days" and "I'm Alone Because I Loved You".
22nd Time is available to sing for your local and community functions, as well as anniversaries, special dates and milestone birthdays. Whether it be for a High School, College, Work or Personal function, 22nd Time is ready for you. 22nd Time is a "non-profit" quartet and appearance donations help to offset travel costs. "CROSSROADS" Wins the 2009 International Quartet Championship!!!
The 2008 Silver Medalist quartet, Crossroads, took the gold this year and were crowned champions during the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Quartet Contest at the Honda Center. Three rounds of intense quartet competitions took place during the Society’s 71st Annual International Convention.
Crossroads’ members hail from all over the United States – Missouri, Florida, Tennessee, and Michigan. Together, Fred Farrell (tenor), Mike Slamka (lead), Brandon Guyton (baritone), and Jim Henry (bass) not only beautifully master the barbershop style, but they also entertain audiences with a wide variety of musical styles ranging from vocal jazz, blues, gospel, standards from the Great American Songbook, and pop classics.
