Cattaraugus Arts Council Award Ceremony
Seneca Junction Chorus proudly accepted a community arts grant from Kim Driscoll, Arts Council Coordinator, this past Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca. This grant will help SJC with our Annual Show tentatively scheduled for November. We look forward to seeing you there!
Seneca Junction Chorus sang "This Is It", "When Day Is Done", and "Mississippi Mud". Our featured Quartet, "22nd Time" sang "Coney Island Washboard Roundelay" and "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover". The audience loved the comedic side of our quartet's songs! Both groups sang songs for the board members and guests that filled the conference room provided by Seneca Allegany Casino. A "standing ovation" was received from approximately 100 people in attendance. We thank you for your kindness and appreciation.
We would like to thank Kim Driscoll, and the entire 3 County board (Cattaraugus, Chattaqua, and Allegheny) members, as well as the many members and guests that were in attendance on Saturday for your continued effort in supporting the arts. Without you our dreams would be diminished.
We look forward to a wonderful relationship with the Arts Council members in pursuing our future aspirations. Seneca Junction Chorus is available for concerts and bookings for future dates.
